PLEASE NOTE: The following troubleshooting tips are for recommendation only. If you are not comfortable attempting any of the following, please contact UHP and we will refer your malfunction to a qualified service contractor.

My furnace will not start.

• Check the circuit breaker to make sure it is on or has not tripped.
• If you do not have circuit breakers, check the fuse to make sure it is good.
• Check the furnace door to make sure it is securely in place.
• Try shutting the furnace off at the switch and restarting it.
• If your furnace is short cycling, (i.e. turning on and off consecutively) check the filter to make sure it is clean.

My air conditioning will not start.

• Check the circuit breaker to make sure it is on or has not tripped.
• If you do not have circuit breakers, check the fuse to make sure it is good.
• If your air conditioning system is icing up, check the furnace filter to make sure it is clean.

My garbage disposal does not work.

• Try pushing in the reset button to reset the disposal.
• Try using the allen wrench in the bottom of the disposal. Turn the allen wrench counter clockwise to loosen the blades inside, then retighten them by turning the allen wrench clockwise.
• Check the circuit breaker to make sure it is on.

My toilet is overflowing.

• Shut off the water valve on the supply line behind the toilet.
• Try plunging the toilet to dislodge any clogs.
